We are pleased to annouce our first major event for 2012: Synaptic Chaos Theatre (SCT) will be performing this year at Nishikaze!

Synaptic Chaos Theatre is your friendly neighbourhood geek comedy troupe, specializing in live improv and semi-scripted comedy shows such as “Doki-Doki Kyuu-Kyuu Challenge!” We regularly perform for large crowds at anime, gaming and science fiction events across North America, and we’d love to perform at your event too!

Nishikaze Returns!

Get ready true believers!  Nishikaze returns this summer on June 30, 2012!

Now understand, after being off the radar since 2008, we are understandably keeping Nishikaze small this year in order to generate some buzz.  Should this event be successful, the next will be coming on strong!

We are returning to the University of Lethbridge, specifically Anderson Hall.  We are in the process of securing vendors and hopefully will have some special events as well.  Be sure to check back regularly for updates!

A little about Renée Dawn Gschaid (taken from her website):

She has a love for the darker, Gothic things in existence but doesn’t allow that to stand in her way of seeing the lighter side of in her photography.
A desire to explore different genres, new locations and collaborating with model, make-up artists, hair-stylist as well as her clients to execute not only her vision but also the people around her.
